Dinuk Wickramanyake won the toss and elected to field first. The BMS bowlers ran through Seagis batting line up bowling them out for 100 in 17 overs. Janith Liyanage bagged 3 but Wanindu Hasaranga and Geeshan Wimaladarma took a couple of wickets each.
In response, BMS got off to a flyer with opener Geeshan Wimaladarma’s brutal hitting. He made 46 off just 25 deliveries, taking the pressure off the other batsman. They cruised to the target with 9 wickets to spare.
