Pakistan suffered a nine-wicket defeat against India in the all-important finals of this year’s T20 Blind World Cup played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday the 12th of February 2017.
Top order batsman Prakasha Jayaramaiah fell one run short of his century but took his team through to a comprehensive win.
Batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 188 in the given 20 overs. In response, the home team managed to wrap things up with 9 wickets and two overs to spare.
The dominant Indian side was congratulated by legends and professionals from around the world.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka made tremendous progress but failed to go past India in the semi-finals. However, the tournament was played with great spirit all-round.
