An excellent second half strike from N’golo Kanté saw Chelsea through to the all-important semi finals of the Emirates FA Cup at Stamford Bridge earlier today. The game ended 1-0 in favor of the home side.
Chelsea started strong but Manchester United looked composed in the first quarter of the game. However, a second yellow card forced Ander Herrera off the field in the latter part of the first half.
Chelsea looked fierce against 10-man Manchester United but failed to find the back of the net in the half way mark.
However, N’golo Kante’s second half strike gave Chelsea the lead, diminishing United’s chances to progress. Marcus Rashford’s impressive striker was saved by Courtois but Chelsea kept creating chances in the Manchester United box.
Eventually, the match ended 1-0.
Chelsea will play Tottenham Hotspur in the semi-finals at Wembley.
