Premier League winners Leicester City lost another game against Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, going further down in the points table on Sunday the 5th of February 2016 at the King Power Stadium. They current remain two points clear from the bottom of the table.
Meanwhile, table-toppers Chelsea toppled Arsenal to win 3-1 at the Stamford Bridge to maintain their nine-point lead from the rest. Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur won their games to remain in check with the blues.
Liverpool lost 2-0 to 18th place Hull City on Saturday the 4th of February 2017.
Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United has certainly found form with brilliant performances from their key players. They are well poised to obtain champions league status but remain sixth in the points table.
“We’re the reigning champions but quite frankly it’s been terrible. Every player is hurting. It’s not a situation that is comfortable. It’s time for everyone to stand up and be counted because if we don’t we’re going to end up getting relegated,” said Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel after last night’s defeat.
