Sudharshana Muthuthanthri will lead the Tuskers outfit despite the return of captain Danushka Ranjan for the 2nd leg of the Asian Rugby 7s Series during the weekend.
Ranjan’s injury left Sri Lanka with plenty to think and the side finished fifth overall in the first leg in Hong Kong.
Kavindu Perera and Samith Dananjaya will make their way out in place of Chanaka Chandimal and Danushka Ranjan for leg two.
The Tuskers will play alongside Japan, China and Chinese Taipei.
Sri Lanka 7s squad: Sudarshana Muthuthanthri, Naveen Henakankanamge, Tarinda Ratwatte, Danush Dayan, Buddhima Piyarathna, Hirantha Perera, Chanaka Chandimal, Kevin Dixon, Danushka Ranjan, Sudam Suriyaarachchi, Jason Dissanayake, Omalka Gunaratne.
The side will look to put up a much better performance with still a lot to play for in the Asia Rugby Sevens series.
