Shehara Jayawardena battled it out to overcome all obstacles to win in the Class SL-H 1600cc event at the CEAT Sri Lanka Super Series final held in Pannala during the weekend.
She was able to come close in the past few races but slight hiccups restricted her from going all the way. However, her efforts paid off in the intense final round which ended in her favor.
She received the Best Driver’s award on the final day of the season.
Meanwhile, Team Mobil ended the day exceptionally with three podium finishes overall.
Susantha Gunawaradana won the Ford Laser in the Group – SL N Ford Laser/Mazda 1300cc event while Rohan De Sila finished second in the Class SLA up to 1050cc event.
