After a narrow 2-1 defeat against Japan, Sri Lanka bounced back to outclass Bhutan 5-1 in the 3rd match of the South Asia – Japan U16 Football Exchange Four Nations tournament at the Race Course Grounds, Colombo.
A 39th-minute goal gave Bhutan the lead but Sri Lanka bounced back with two goals before the half time whistle. They added three more goals in the second half to finish the game 5-1.
In the game against Japan, Sri Lanka created plenty of chances but failed to find the back of the net. Neither side scored after half time.
