Fast bowler Asitha Fernando will replace Nuwan Pradeep in the fourth and the fifth one-day internationals against Zimbabwe later this week.
Pradeep suffered a minor strain on his thigh during the recently concluded 3rd one-day international in Hambantota.
However, Pradeep will likely be fit to play in the series to follow against India. Sri Lanka will play Zimbabwe in a one-off test as well.
Sri Lanka won the third one-day international chasing a record total of over 300. The 4th ODI will be played at the same venue tomorrow.
Asitha Fernando was part of the squad that got the better of Australia at home.
