The world famous Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has lately decided to compete in the Men’s 100m event at The Golden Spike Meet in Ostrava on the 20th of May 2016.
Ahead of the all-important Rio Olympics in August, The Golden Spike Meet is Bolts only international test.
Usain Bolt will defend his 100m, 200m and 4x100m titles from 2012 at the Rio Olympics.
“I am pleased to return to the Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava on May 20 for the eighth time in my career. It is one of my favourite meets on the circuit. The organisation is always great and the fans create a fantastic atmosphere”, said Bolt in a statement issued.
Regardless of Bolt’s outstanding performance at the World Championships, his competitiveness at the Ostrava Games would remain key ahead of the Rio Olympics.
As it has been quite a while since he won the World Championships, Bolt’s run would certainly determine his skills.
