CH and FC got ever so close to topple Police SC but the cops held their nerve to complete an impressive 26-21 win in the second round match of the Dialog Division ‘A’ Inter-Club Rugby League Championship played at Police Park on Sunday the 29th of January 2017.
An early counter helped Police SC take the lead, credit to some excellent team work. They were well ahead, leading 26-7 at the halfway mark.
To everyone’s surprise, CH and FC fought back with tremendous intent to get ever so close in the second half. They eventually fell 5 points short of creating an unexpected upset.
The winners scored from four tries and three conversions while CH scored from three converted tries.
