Sri Lanka Lawyers’ Cricket Club (SLLCC) has volunteered to host the 6th edition of the Lawyers World Cup from the 10th to the 20th of August 2017 in six venues across Sri Lanka.
The tournament will feature 12 teams, 6 sides in one group.
Sri Lanka will field two teams along with Australia, India, and Bangladesh. Matches are set to be played at the P. Sara Oval, De Soysa Stadium, Moratuwa, Royal College, Thurstan College, BRC and Bloomfield C&AC grounds.
The final will be played at the SSC Grounds and the knockouts are set to be twenty20s encounters.
Group A – India, Barristers of England and Wales (BEWCC), West Indies, Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh ‘B’ and Australia ‘B’.
Group B – Pakistan, Australia, Solicitors of England and Wales, Bangladesh, India ‘B’ and Sri Lanka ‘B’.
