The Tuskers were too good for UAE as the second round match ended 33-17 in favour of Roshan Weeraratne’s side in the Asian Rugby Division I Championship at Ipoh, Malaysia earlier today. They got the better of Philippines, winning 24-13 on Sunday the 14th of May.
In the match kicked off earlier today, Sri Lanka got off to a dominant start but minor errors allowed the opposition back into the game before half time. The score was 18-17 in favor of the Tuskers at the halfway mark.
However, a much better performance completely swung the game in favor of Sri Lanka in the second half.

Sri Lanka will take on host nation Malaysia later this month.
